Foreveracers Xforce

About This Game Foreveracers is an arcade multiplayer driving game, with a focus on removing a lot of the faff and waiting around often associated with online racing games. Just join a game when you're ready, and start driving. Each car in the game has a distinct feel and unique characteristics, and the physics model means that balance is as much part of challenge (and fun) as the optimal racing line. These cars can wobble and be a handful to control (especially if you're playing on keyboard). Also each car has their own 'optimal racing line', since as long as you hit the checkpoints in order, you're free to find your own route around the circuit! You can challenge (and be challenged by) other players in the game to races or to special challenge modes. Everyone that accepts the challenge will join that game mode, and anyone that doesn't can just carry on driving as they were, maybe to join or issue the next challenge. When not in a challenge, just drive through a start line to begin a lap, drive somewhere else to find another circuit whenever you want, or maybe explore to see if you can find an unlock for the hidden circuits. Or if you just want to quickly change car or jump to a different circuit, you can do so too.Features All one world - You're free to drive between the different circuits, and explore the world, without any reloading. Day/Night cycle - The racing in Foreveracers never ends, so keep driving night and day. Over 12 circuits - 4 initial circuits, 4 hidden circuits to find, and additional mirrored variants to then unlock. Race challenge - Issue a race challenge to other players, those that accept will line up and race to the finish line. Special Challenge Modes - If you want a break from the racing, then challenge players to a Scavenge Hunt or Rust-Bucket Survival challenge 6 Main Vehicles - from the slow and steady Starter Car, through to the 'too fast' Sports Car, and the frankly ridiculous Clown Car. 2 Handling options - 'Original' for those who enjoy the challenge of the wobbly unstable cars, or 'Stabilised' for those who prefer (slightly) easier handling. Leaderboards - See how your lap times compare to others Live world rank - Your current world rank is displayed for whichever circuit you currently have active, try to improve your best time and move up to #1! Ghosts - If you're just lapping alone then the 'ghost' of your best lap will start when you do.Note For Solo PlayersWe believe there is fun to be had with this game even if playing alone - start an online game and while waiting for others to join, you can drive, explore, time trial, try to improve your world ranking and unlock the extra circuits. AI drivers are now available (since v1.1) and they will drive around, respond to challenges etc. However, we do want to make it clear that there is no single player 'story' or challenge structure so if you're only looking for a game to play alone/offline, then this may not be for you.Future DevelopmentWe've been slowly updating and improving the game since launch, and any further additions will continue to be free updates. However, we are just a 2 person team working in our spare time around our day jobs, so our focus has always been to try to make a small, fun game and offer it for what we hope is a fair price. We believe we're getting to that stage now, and so though we have a few more updates in the pipeline and will continue to address bug fixes etc., long term ongoing development will depend on there being enough players to justify it. 6d5b4406ea Title: ForeveracersGenre: Action, Casual, Indie, Racing, SportsDeveloper:SuperSmashingGreat GamesPublisher:SuperSmashingGreat GamesRelease Date: 29 Mar, 2018 Foreveracers Xforce This is really fun. All the tracks are intertwined in a single open world which is full of interesting features: mountain, village, quarry, highway that loops around everything. It took a while to get a handle on the driving (these cars are wobbly) but it's quite rewarding to get good at.You can play by yourself and work on beating your personal bests on the tracks, or challenge others on the server to races, or a mix of both. I like the flexibility that you don't have to rely on others to have fun, although when you get a good group to race against, it's fantastic.. Waste of money. Fun game, worth the money :). A worthy sequel to Wild Animal Racing. If you're looking for a game that has racing involved, multiplayer and the same feel as Golf With Your Friends, then this game is perfectly for you 10+. This is IMO a racing game for kids, it looks and feels exactly like that. Not, that it's too easy, but kids are usually online trolling you when you try beating a worthy opponent. Overall, I expected this game to be much more fun, judging by the videos, but it's simply not. Well, at least I did not have much fun with it. Even if there are a few people online playing, they still aren't many, and IMO this game needs much improvement to become an actually enjoyable experience for my standards. Until then, I personally don't recommend it.. Foreveracers is a small-scale indie game that has some neat ideas, and just makes me smile when I play it. Ultimately, I would like to see much more content and a larger playerbase. I think the former would be relatively easy to implement given that the majority of the work is already done, but unfortunately I don't see the playerbase significantly expanding. Essentially, this is a physics-based racing game set in an open world sandbox. While you can play offline, the default is to play on an open server with other real people which is a high point. The world isn't mind-bogglingly huge or anything, but what is there is quite beautiful. The art style is very nice. So you roam around this open world and pick and choose races to do. Most of the time it's just racing your own ghost, but when other people are around you can easily organize races. It's super easy. The whole thing is just a chill experience. You can choose from a few different cars, which all control quite differently. I think this is a good game to go into with the goal of 100%ing the achievements. Pros:+The whole experience is fresh and quite chill. It's fun to just drop in and see what's going on, and maybe snag a few achievements along the way.+I like that it's basically an online sandbox game. Yes, you can play offline, but it's fun to setup races and interact with others. I enjoyed watching some high scores get set by Steam user Twelve.+The day and night cycle is a really nice touch. This adds a great layer of immersion into the world.+The cars are all quite different in how they handle. The color options are nice, too.+Exploration is fun. I wish there was more built-in reasons to further encourage exploration.+The whole thing is very pretty.Cons:-While I appreciate that all the cars drive differently, I think the present selection can be a bit too wonky\/wily with their level of control. I think the current cars totally should be options, but there could be some more standard and controllable options added. Sometimes it's fun to wrestle with crazy controls, but in a chill game like this - we could use some more 'regular' options.-Content. Don't get me wrong, this game is priced well for what is offered, but there is just much more potential. The groundwork has been laid, so why not add in more cars, colors, collectables, races, and reasons to explore every nook-and-cranny?-The playerbase is super small, and I don't see that changing.-You can nearly 100% the achievements in less than 5 hours (this is a guess, but I'm close at 2 hours in). If you aren't driven by setting records in the races or mindlessly cruising around, you probably won't get too much more out of this title. EDIT: I think one of the achievements will take a lot longer.-One thing that could help is if the devs organized one or two sessions a week where players would get on to help have more player dense times. DUSK does this with Friday Frag Night. It works well for games that struggle with having constant action going.Yeah, I quite like this little game. It has enough fresh ideas and works quite well to merit the small asking price.
